About Eric Fornell

LinkedIn_Profile_Picture_1407096714Eric Fornell, an executive with more than 30 years of experience in finance, serves as vice chairman of investment banking and capital markets for Well Fargo Securities. There, he provides advice to clients primarily in the energy sector. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Eric Fornell worked at JPMorgan Chase in several leadership positions. As vice chairman in investment banking, he headed senior client coverage of private equity firms in the energy, pipeline, and utility sectors.

Mr. Fornell holds a bachelor of arts in philosophy, politics, and economics from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar, and a bachelor of arts in economics and English from Amherst College. Apart from his professional responsibilities, Eric Fornell actively supports several learning institutions by having served on the boards of trustees for University Liggett School in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, and the Green Vale School in Long Island, New York, and St. George’s School in Newport, Rhode Island. In his free time, he also enjoys playing golf and reading, and is a fan of the essays and fiction of David Foster Wallace.
